Elbow joint
Most elbow pain is actually due to joint instability due to weakened or sprained ligaments. This can present itself as tenderness along the ligament and tendon attachments of the elbow joint. The pain can even radiate down the forearm into the wrist, leading some people to believe they have developed carpal tunnel syndrome. For over 25 years, doctor Cavallino has been helping patients with elbow pain obtain a proper diagnosis, alleviate pain, and avoid surgery. For tennis players, golfers and other athletes, Prolotherapy is an excellent option for restoring elbow stability, avoid surgery and keep you performing at your best.

The benefit is not instant but gradual. It becomes noticeable after 6-8 weeks, increasing up to 12 weeks. Patients with improvements immediately after therapy are also observed. Pain and stiffness are expected for about 2 to 3 days. Rest is not necessary, normal activities should continue. Complications are very rare as the injection is not placed in the spinal canal or near the spinal nerves. Infection occurs in approximately 1 in 17,000 injections, which is the main complication that can occur.
