Ankle joints
Did you know that once you have sprained your ankle, you are much more likely to sprain it in the future? Ankle sprains can easily, and often, lead to chronic ankle instability! This means that a “simple” sprained ankle quickly becomes a progressive, degenerative condition. Degeneration needs regeneration! If you are dealing with an acute ankle injury, such as an ATFL tear, or chronic ankle pain conditions, such as osteoarthritis, we want to help you.

The benefit is not instant but gradual. It becomes noticeable after 6-8 weeks, increasing up to 12 weeks. Patients with improvements immediately after therapy are also observed. Pain and stiffness are expected for about 2 to 3 days. Rest is not necessary, normal activities should continue. Complications are very rare as the injection is not placed in the spinal canal or near the spinal nerves. Infection occurs in approximately 1 in 17,000 injections, which is the main complication that can occur.
